Production Operator
SUMMARY OF PRODUCTION OPERATOR:
National car manufacturing company is offering career opportunities for Production Operator in Princeton, IN. We are in search of a highly motivated warehouse associate's that are capable of following directions, pulling accurate orders, and has the ability to adapt to the job as needed.


REQUIREMENTS OF PRODUCTION OPERATOR:
• Valid driver’s license
• Attention to detail
• Work well with others
• Correctable visual acuity
• Work around moving vehicles
• Drive vehicles in a safe manner
• Walk distances equal to or greater than 100 feet at a time
• Stand , crouch, squat, bend at waist
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Bilateral reach, bilateral pinch grip, bilateral rotary motions of arm/elbow/wrist
• Ability to withstand exposure to temperature changes (indoor/outdoor).


RESPONSIBILITIES OF PRODUCTION OPERATOR:
• Walk to vehicle (outside), drive the vehicle into the shop, complete the processes below, drive
the unit outside, park it, and walk back to retrieve the next unit;
• Inspect the unit;
• Verify everything on the tag has been installed;
• Vacuum the interior;
• Check functionality of seat, headrest, seatbelt, doors, and windows;
• Adjust tire psi to recommended pressure;
• Remove stickers, plastic seat covers, plastic from carpets, and adhesive from tires;
• Place floormats in the vehicle;
• Remove grease marks from windows, headlights & fog lights;
• Set clock to local time;
• Test all keys in door & ignition;
• Add accessories/”throw-ins” (booklets & window labels in glovebox; cargo nets, 1st aid kits, wireless headphones, license plate bracket, etc. in specific locations in the vehicle);
• Clean windows;
• Check fluid levels;
• Install roof rack caps (when Highlanders are ordered with this option selected);
• Stamp production tag indicating processes are complete;
• Notify trainer/team leader/supervisor of any issues/injuries; and
• Other duties as assigned.


SCHEDULE AND PAY OF A PRODUCTION OPERATOR:
• Two (2) shifts to choose from
• 6:30 am - 3:15 pm OR 7:15 pm - 4:00 am
• $17.00 / hour
• OT is mandatory if requested by Supervisor
