Sanitation Manager
SUMMARY FOR SANITATION MANAGER:
Food manufacturing company looking for a Sanitation Manager. While maintaining a high level of GMPs “good manufacturing practices” and sanitation standards. Our current staff is made up of great dedicated workers, which not only help us keep our high standards but understand the importance of providing for their households.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SANITATION MANAGER:
• Supports the mission, values, and vision of the company. Maintains the best interest of Company first and foremost.
• Responsible for assuring all Sanitation staff are working safely and are using proper PPE during their activities.
• Assures that all lines are cleared with ATP and Allergen swabs at the end of each CIP cycle.
• Develops and maintains the Master Sanitation schedule and completes daily Sanitation Recap report at the end of each shift.
• In conjunction with the QA manager, maintain and develop cleaning procedures for all equipment, lines, areas, etc., to provide effective and efficient of job performance.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and tools are maintained for peak performance and effective cleaning.
• Required to report any apparent issues and recommendations to the QA Manager as they occur.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SANITATION MANAGER:
• Scrub and clean food production lines and facility
• Foam and sanitize production lines and facility
• Scrub, wash, and sanitize other food production equipment as needed
• Understand and follow written and verbal work instructions
• Responsible for scheduling staff to assure all sanitation requirements are covered on every shift.
• Responsible for flashlight audits used to verify all plant sanitation activities are complete and thorough and to assure all lines are ready for the following day’s production.
• Provide support and work in conjunction with Production Supervisors to ensure all changeovers are completed properly with exceptional sanitary results.
• Study and provide technical assistance to the QA Manager for continually improving methodologies and programs.
• Provide support and contribute to troubleshooting any QA related issues.
• Perform or instruct reports to perform any requested task given by QA Manager, or Director of Operations.
• Make recommendations to QA Manager/ Director of Operations of personnel training needs/requirements.
• Supervise staff to ensure proper concentrations of chemicals and temperatures are reached to maintain effective cleaning.

SHIFT AND PAY FOR SANITATION MANAGER:
• Monday to Friday and some Saturdays as needed
• 4pm to 1am
• $60, 000 / Annual Salary
