Corporate Accounting Manager
JOB SUMMARY:

National Staffing Agency is offering a career opportunity to a Corporate Accounting Manager.
Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas relating to corporate accounting functions and financial reporting. This position will be responsible for routine accounting tasks and activities and is heavily relied upon for the daily accounting operations of the organization. The Corporate Accounting Manager is also expected to make recommendations to the CFO for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Must adhere to stringent deadlines and perform a multitude of accounting activities.


JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CORPORATE ACCOUNTING MANAGER:

Training, Skills, Qualifications, Knowledge and/or Experience:
• Seven to ten years prior experience in the accounting/financial reporting areas
• Payroll Law & Compliance.
• Knowledge of office administration, bookkeeping and Knowledge of accounting procedures.
• Stress tolerance and Sense of urgency
• Two plus years strong management experience
• Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently.
• All aspects supervision of similar number of staff members
• Must have a positive attitude and work well under pressure.
• Bilingual (English /Spanish) preferred.
• Experience implementing sound financial policies & procedures
• Proficiency with office & accounting software, especially QuickBooks & MS Excel
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels in the organization.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR A CORPORATE ACCOUNTING MANAGER:
• Lead cross-functional accounting projects; define, implement, and maintain processes and procedures to support Resource governance requirements while balancing specific needs.
• Influence executives to close gaps in control frameworks and develop scalable solutions.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all financial accounting across the organization
• Assist in the management of financial budgeting and forecasting processes
• Interface with departments to verify transactions, research accounting issues
• Advise staff regarding the handling of non-routine accounting transactions
• Respond to inquiries from CFO as well as senior management regarding financial results and special reporting requests
• Guide the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department; provide training to new and existing staff as needed
• Manage the implementation and advancement of appropriate software across the organization
• Work with independent audit firm to ensure a clean and timely financial statement audit
• Work with direct report to establish performance goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff
• Coordinate the development and implementation of policies and procedures with emphasis on internal controls
• Integrity, credibility & commitment to the organization's mission
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the CFO


PAY FOR CORPORATE ACCOUNTING MANAGER::

• Salaried – $70K-$90K / Depending on experience
