SUMMARY FOR EXHIBITOR BANNER FINISHER:
Excellent opportunity in Las Vegas, NV. Looking for team members who can dream up the impossible and deliver it. Banner Finisher position requires a person who is very organized and great in prioritizing, organizing and planning in order to see each job through completion and be able to meet given deadlines.


REQUIREMENTS FOR EXHIBITOR BANNER FINISHER:
• High School Graduate; prefer two (2) years college or service bureau/large format shop experience
• Fabric Banner Print or Finishing experience - Flatbed Printing experience
• Service and Maintenance Certification on heat welding equipment is a strong plus
• PSV, Banner installation experience is a strong plus
• Ability to understand and fulfill internal and external client expectations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (customer service)
• Basic math skills (fraction to decimal conversions) and ability to read and understand CAD drawings
• Applicants will be subject to a written and application examination regarding production competency
• Flexibility with work schedule and hours (required to change shifts, work days and overtime as business needs dictate)
• Ability to work under pressure - Self motivated with ability to work independently and under tight deadlines
• Ability to work in high-production environment and ability to concentrate amid distractions
• Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task in a shop environment
• Shipping Experience - Certified in PSV installation
• Nights, weekends and show site work may be necessary in peak business season
• Position averages 40-50 hours per week, several months of the year (may vary based on show schedule)
• Requires the ability to adapt to multiple settings and shifting responsibilities
• Work is performed mostly in shop conditions, with some work being performed in a show site environment
• Work involves occasional exertion of physical effort (i.e. periods of standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting)


RESPONSIBILITIES OF BANNER FINISHER:
• Follow specific fabrication instructions as indicated by Work Order, Customer, or Supervisor/Manager.
• Read and calculate information to provide scaled drawings to finished product.
• Prepare vinyl banners, carpet and PSV for shipping upon completion of printing; includes cutting, taping, trimming and shipping.
• Prepare digitally printed banner/product rolls for external application to substrates and/or various rigging applications.
• Provide quality control at designated steps on the process. - Prepare final product for shipping to multiple locations.
• Prepare appropriate paperwork in accordance with defined operational procedures.
• Operate and maintains the use of trimming and finishing equipment. - Operate and maintain shrink-wrap and shipping equipment.
• Maintain willingness to learn new industry processes as they develop.
• Use production tools and chemicals safely and with proficiency, such as: utility knife, automated roll to roll cutter, metal straight edge, measuring tape, scissors, lighter fluid, rubbing alcohol, and other materials related to the production of grand format graphics.
• Assist in the receipt of inventory of banner materials, carpet, ink and other consumables.
• Obtain delivery tickets from the suppliers and account for inventory
• Report low inventories to purchasing in order to ensure production supplies are in stock
• Work closely with internal departments in order to ship all jobs on time and in the most economical manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position under the direction of the Banner Supervisor and Graphics Manager.


SCHEDULE & PAY RATE OF BANNER FINISHER:
• Monday - Friday
• 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
• $14.00 / hour
