Packaging Associate Thermoforming
JOB SUMMARY:
Packaging Operators primary responsibility is to support the manufacturing group by preparing boxes to be loaded, visually inspecting product, loading product and stacking finished cases in a way that ensures efficient, quality-oriented production.

REQUIREMENTS OF PACKAGING ASSOCIATE THERMOFORMING:
• Must be able to lift, pull and push up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Required to report to work in accordance with their work schedules and to complete their scheduled shifts as assigned.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage all aspects of product packaging for the assigned work cell.
• Inspect finished products to ensure that they meet the quality and packaging standards.
• Communicate any product quality concerns to the first available Technician, Supervisor or Manager within a timely manner.
• Communicate any packaging concerns to the first available Technician, Supervisor or Manager in a timely manner.
• Stack, count and/or weigh products in accordance with the work station guidelines and place in poly bags.
• Verify stamp code is correct. Stamp corrugated boxes and use taper to form and seal boxes.
• Package finished goods into boxes,
• Communicate supply needs to section’s floor relief packer or Technician. Including boxes, poly bags, paper, tape, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work areas by sweeping, dusting and removing trash from the area. Assist in maintaining cleanliness of shared areas.
• Remain at assigned work station for breaks until the Team Member scheduled to relieve you arrives.
• Remain at assigned work station at the end of your scheduled shift until the person scheduled to relieve you arrives.
• Expected to be familiar with the policies and procedures set forth in the Hourly Employee Handbook and Statement of Business Principles.
• Expected to understand and comply with all Safety Rules and GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes).
• Expected to complete all assigned tasks in accordance with Standard Work Instructions (SWIS), Job
• Safety Analysis (JSA), Single point lessons


WORKING SCHEDULE & PAY RATE:
• This position requires schedule flexibility, weekend work and overtime when required.
• 12 Hour Shifts
• $11.00 / hour on days
• $11.50 / hour on nights
