IT Support Analyst
SUMMARY:
As a Support Analyst , you will be responsible for day to day end-user support for our office, monogramming and warehouse staff. The successful candidate must have the ability to analyze and resolve issues for Helpdesk callers through email, phone and desk-side support while following policies and procedures to professionally coordinate customer hand-off to other technical or managerial resources. You will require a strong customer focus and excellent problem solving and communication skills in addition to broad technical competencies relating to computer & system administration. You will work in a complex IT environment that requires you to self-initiate and be comfortable operating across ITIL tiers. Flower Mound, Texas.


IT SUPPORT ANALYST EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
• Prefer a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• 5+ years providing full time computer hardware & system support for 50+ users/50+ app per technician environment
Experience Beneficial:
• ITSM systems
• SMS systems
• Mac OSX end user support
• Experience with alternate browser use and configuration such as Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
• Linux



IT SUPPORT ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform in-house, 1st and 2nd level desk-side and remote support for PC based information technology. This includes diagnosis, problem resolution, escalation and customer follow-up.
• Install, document, maintain, upgrade and replace IT and telephony hardware and software.
• Support and maintain user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
• Support and maintain user setup of telephone extensions and voicemail.
• Provide basic support and maintenance for printers and copiers, escalation as necessary.
• Utilize tools to monitor infrastructure for basic availability of key systems and technologies.
• Interface with all other support team members to ensure smooth operation of the desk-side support environment.
• Prepare technical documentation (process continuity or training) as required.
• Maintain working knowledge of standard microcomputer software.
• Maintain current knowledge of basic personal computer repair, upgrade and support techniques.
• Understanding of and ability to enforce local and industry IT security practices and standards.
• Troubleshoot small computer and mobile device connectivity and synchronization issues in wired and wireless environments.
• Job requires the ability to lift, move and relocate equipment, monitors, and peripherals that may weigh up to 75lbs each.
• Participate in training activities as applicable.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned or required.
• Adhere to all company and IT department policies and procedures.


IT SUPPORT ANALYST PAY RATE AND SCHEDULE:
• Monday - Friday
• 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• $ $28.00 an hour depending on experience
