Onsite Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
To effectively plan, organize, direct, and control the manufacture of products to meet customer specifications. Duties will include supervise and onboard employees in a food manufacturing environment. Further, this position ensures that applicable corporate programs, policies and procedures are followed. Provide recommendations and resolutions resulting in increased organizational effectiveness and results.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 2 supervision in food manufacturing.
• Must interface with other departments in a professional and effective manner.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to effectively manage diverse groups of people to meet and exceed productivity, quality and safety standards and maintain a positive work environment.
• Hands-on leadership style
• Computer proficiency is required (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Apply common sense understanding to implement policies.
• Work competently under emergency and urgent situations
• Reason through problems to arrive at safe and prompt resolution
• Effective communication and training methods with supervisory, and formulation staff and ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to managers, supervisors etc.
• Accountable to all personnel within area of responsibility

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Accountable to deliver key performance indicators as turnover fill rate and retention.
• Solutions to customer inquiries
• Supervise the flow of raw materials through the production process and the control of inventory (finished food products)
• Adherence to product and customer specifications
• Compliance with all required salary, labor, HACCP, FSIS-USDA, and OSHA regulations and policies
• Accurate and timely production reporting
• Promoting a positive labor relations environment within departments and the facility as a whole.
• Retention, training, development and mentoring of direct reports, including Team Leads.
• Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external customers and regulatory agency employees
• Responsible for the safe operation of the entire process
• Understands and follows all general Food Safety Responsibilities. This includes prevention of cross contamination, product adulteration, and unsanitary conditions through continuous inspection of products and product contact surfaces in assigned area.
